Pure Nail Bar

I got dip powder nails on my natural nail bed. It took her an hour and half to complete. I was already starting to get frustrated at how painfully slow she was doing my nails that after an hour and my dip powder finally coated, I politely told her I needed to get going in ten minutes. She then picked up to normal speed. The reason I'm leaving a bad review is it has only been 24 hours and the dip powder has fallen off my nails. Complete waste of my time and money. Update now has been 48 hours and 3 more powder coating has fallen off. This makes no sense, the last place I went to get dip powder it lasted a month. Pure nail bar must be using some kind of severely deluted bonding agent.

One of the most sub par mani pedi experiences I’ve ever had. I was cut/scraped by the file on my toes and cuticles cut too much to where they hurt. During my mani she sliced under my finger with the file. I made it clear she hurt me and she kept trying to do the same thing with the file and kept scraping more into the cut she made. After flinching multiple times I had to tell her not to touch it again. When finishing up she proceeded to try and do it agin. You should never be cut like this during a service.

It was my first time getting dip and long nails and I love how it turned out! Everybody was friendly. They have a big selection of colors to choose from, the salon was clean and peaceful. I especially liked how they payed attention to little details and gave me a quality experience. Price is the same as other places but better quality.

I have been to this nail salon for a shellac manicure and a pedicure before and had a positive experience. However, I would not recommend them for a dip manicure. This was my first time getting the dip at this specific salon and I was not satisfied. I asked for my normal nails to be filed in almond shape and they ended up extremely short and round. They do all the shaving, buffing and shaping with a hand file which left the dip extremely thick and also caused the staff to cut me multiple times. I paid almost $70 to walk out unhappy.

I was in town and went here because it was so close to my hotel. Friendly staff, clean salon, good environment! The only 2 reasons I gave 4/5 is because the nail polish selection is very small, and she poked me with a tool on accident and made my bleed just a little bit. She put what I assume is rubbing alcohol on it and it burned so bad! But hey it’s clean that’s the important part. I will definitely come back though!

I went to this salon because it is only a couple blocks away from where I live. I have walked past the salon for years and never gone just because I usually do get acrylic nails, and they mostly only do dip. I decided to go because l've been growing my natural nails and I needed them to be a bit stronger so I decided to get gel polish. When I went for that service, I don't really have any complaints, I'm not a picky person by any means my only issue was their pricing points, it was listed that gel polish should be $45 for a manicure but I was charged an extra 17, 1 didn't question it because it is what it is. So after I got my $75 manicure after tip, I went home. The next day at work one of them chipped. I was definitely upset so I contacted the salon and let them know would be there as soon as I got off work to have it fixed. This night specifically they close at 6 PM, I got there at 5:30 and they were already shutting down and there were no other customers in there. While she fixed my chiped nail I sat and played a game on my phone the entire time. During this, I just felt very belittled because she made it seem like the gel chipping off was my fault because I decided not to pay more and get dip. It took maybe 20 minutes for her to fix my nail because they were trying to get out of there which I completely understand, so I left once she was done, and thanked her for her service. I didn't bring a wallet with me or anything because I knew I wouldn't have to pay. I was wearing an outfit with no pockets besides, my Carhart sweatshirt. An hour after I got home, I got a call from the salon and they were claiming that I took an employee cell phone, asking for me to please bring it back. I didn't touch anything in the salon as I sat at the first desk, but just in case, I might've accidentally grabbed something I checked my pockets of my carheart. I told them that I didn't have their phone and I apologize for the inconvenience but I never touched anything in the salon. They continue to claim that they had video evidence of me taking a cell phone. Something I would never do, so I asked her if I could come see the footage and she told me no. Now I am being harassed by members of their family, they took the time to find my phone number and give it out to their whole family. They're texting me over and over again saying that they're going to contact the police, I already contacted the police. I just wanted to post this review as a warning for any new customers. I usually don't write reviews like this but this really freaked me out. Just a fair warning. Their prices are high with horrible customer service.
